ROADS STILL IN A MESS
The good news is there are works scheduled (after a lot of pressure from the parish, myself and others) to repair potholes in our area. The bad news is that Shropshire Council, KIER their contractors and Severn Trent are still not co-ordinating their activities.
Examples include:
iii) At Lydham Heath a bridge is closed for emergency repairs. Although this was an emergency nobody told the schools which left schools buses running 20 minutes late and parents worried and angry across the Stiperstones area. Again a formal complaint has been made to the Chief Executive this time. The closure was understandable but the lack of communication was appalling.
