SCAM ALERTS

SCAM ALERTS
A number of sophisticated scam telephone calls, texts, and emails are doing the rounds again including the offer of tax refunds from HMRC, calls related to ebay and amazon prime, and supposed NHS calls about track and trace contacts who ask for a fee for the service. Others claim to be from HM Courts and Tribunal Service asking for payment of a penalty charge notice.
HMRC will also contact you by letter and NHS Track and Trace is free. Please do not be taken in by these calls, they may sound very plausible and genuine but you should not give your personal details or bank details out or allow anyone access to your computer from a telephone call.
