Police Road Safety survey

Dear All
Road safety is a major concern in most of Worthen with Shelve and Chirbury with Brompton Parishes especially as there have been 2 deaths on the B4386 since July.
The Police Commissioner has just launched a road safety Strategy and would like people to take part in the consultation around the document attached. See the link in his office email below.
I am sure many of you will have views about this, so please take part in his consultation.

The Police Commissioner said: “As you may know road safety is a high priority of mine and as the West Mercia Police and Crime Commissioner I am launching my draft Road Safety Strategy for consultation. This strategy has three key themes:

Whilst our roads are comparatively safer than others, too many people are still being killed and seriously injured in West Mercia. We must work together to see this number consistently reduce.
Your views are important to me and the feedback I receive will help inform the development of my finalised Road Safety Strategy. I see this as a real opportunity for the strategy to truly reflect the concerns and priorities of all of West Mercia’s communities.
The survey only takes a few minutes to complete so please help me to make West Mercia’s roads safer. A copy of the draft strategy is attached and the survey can be found through this link https://www.surveygizmo.eu/s3/90214147/Road-Safety-Strategy-Consultation
The consultation will close on Friday 20 March, information can be found at www.westmercia-pcc.gov.uk
