Chirbury School is celebrating two key successes over the last few weeks:

  1. The School passes its latest OFSTED inspection with flying colours achieving 'good' status in all five categories. It was one of the few Schools in the region to pass with these grades under OFSTED's new tougher assessment regime.
  1. it scored a 100% pass rate in its SATS (tests taken by pupils in their last year in primary school on maths, reading, spelling etc) tests - one of only two schools in Shropshire to do so.

Heather, who is Vice Chair of the Shropshire Hills Schools Federation, said: " I believe that this is an outstanding achievement for all the children, staff, governors and parents who have worked so hard to make this one of the best schools in the County."
