Hedgehogs

Hedgehogs
Heather’s daughter found three young hedgehogs in her garden over recent days all struggling to build up fat to go into hibernation.
Heather said ” We’ve had quite a mild autumn and these three were probably from a second brood and were born quite late. They also have quite a few parisites (ticks mainly) which doesn’t help their chances of survival.
“If you find any still abroad give Tanis a ring on 01588 680272. She will treat them for infections, worms, ticks etc. fattened them up to at 600 g so that they can survive hibernation.”
