I am pleased to inform you that Kier Highways have been instructed by Shropshire Council to carry out Carriageway Resurfacing Repairs at the above location.
Works are programmed to be carried out commencing 25 July and we envisage the work taking 26 days to complete.
Works will be carried out under a Road Closure between 07.30am – 17.30pm, please expect delays in this area during the works.
Access to properties/businesses along this road may be restricted during these times but Traffic Management operatives will assist when necessary and safe to do so. Passes will be provided to all residents within the closure to present to the Gatemen during the closures to allow access.
Warning: When access is granted through the road closure please be mindful there will be workforce working within the closure on the carriageway, please ensure that speed through the area is to a minimum to ensure the safety of yourselves and the workforce at all times.

It would be greatly appreciated if all cars and vehicles could be parked off the road during the working hours as highlighted above to enable these works to proceed with the minimum of delay during this period.
Please do not hesitate to seek guidance during the undertaking of the above work from the designated marshals who are easily identified by the wearing of blue armbands
The programme is liable to change in the event of unforeseen circumstances or adverse weather. All changes will be highlighted on the Advance Warning signs which are situated at both ends of the effected road.
