National rural champion, Heather Kidd, has been elected onto the Local Government Association Rural Policy Review Group. The Rural Policy Review Group, on behalf of the Rural Commission, fulfils the role of sounding board for policy development and review on rural issues.
Heather Kidd said “It is vital that a rural community like ours is at the forefront of policy making on rural issues. Only by Ludlow and Bridgnorth having a voice on such important bodies, such as the RPRG, will matters that affect people that live here in our rural communities be heard.”
