The High Street in Bishop’s Castle remains closed to traffic.. This is due to finding a number of water services just below the surface of the road and not at the required depth and subsequently finding a collapsed Victorian culvert which will need to be made safe before the resurfacing can continue. Businesses at the top of the town are open as usual , however only pedestrian access is possible. Please support them if you can.
