THE POOL AT 50
A WONDERFUL SURPRISE.
Out of the blue, we were contacted by Margaret Wronski to ask if we could help promote her action to support the pool. Like many of us, she loves being able to walk to the pool from her house and said that she would be so sorry to see it and the other amazing facilities there close.
Margaret aims to swim 2km a week, making a total of 50km by the end of August. She is already up to 35km, having swum 2km in the Teme at Ludlow over the weekend! The second half of any journey to a target is always the hardest so your encouragement would be really valued. Her JustGiving address is:

ON THE SUBJECT OF MONEY
We are nearly half-way through our Pool at 50 year and will shortly give you a progress report. Last time, I was really remiss in not thanking The Wynn Foundation for donating the money to subsidise Lifeguard training for local young people.
Meanwhile:
· The Mayor’s Six Bells Quiz Night has donated £375
· Jane Allard’s pop-up plant stall, which moved from her garden to SpArC, then popped up at the Church before returning to SpArC
has generated £450 to date. There are some healthy plants still outside the Centre.
PLANNING AHEAD
1. We will have a stall at the Carnival on Saturday July 6. Any offers of help to staff it for even a short time are really welcome.
2. Sunday July 28 will be a spectacular day outside SpArC. PLEASE put it in your diary. More information next time.
3. We are not sure whether to offer an apple pressing day this autumn; it rather depends on demand. Would you let me know by July 6 if you either have apples to bring for pressing or would like to help?
