OCTOBER ROAD CLOSURE IN MONTGOMERY
Severn Trent are now able to start the work to replace the old water pipes along the B4385 through Montgomery. The work will now be starting along Station Road, Montgomery on Monday 9 October 2023.
The whole scheme is due to be completed by middle of April 2024.
Phase 1 & 2 – Along Station Road to junction of Forden Road (Road Closure) – Junction of Forden Road to Goal Road (3-way Traffic Lights) – 09/10/23 to 10/11/23
Phase 3 & 4 – From junction of Gaol Road along Pool Road to Chirbury Road junction (Road Closure) at the Pool Road/Chirbury Road junction (3 Way Traffic Lights) – 13/11/23 to 15/12/23
Xmas break 18/12/23 – 02/01/24
Phase 5 – Along Princes Street (Road Closure) – 02/01/24 to 16/02/24
Phase 6 – Bishops Castle Street (Road Closure) – Church Bank (3-way Traffic Lights) – 19/02/24 08/03/24
Phase 7 – From junction of Back Lane along B4385 (Road Closure) – 11/03/24 – 12/04/24
Final disconnection on Station Road (Road Closure) – 15/04/2024 – 18/04/2024
