Shropshire Councillor Heather Kidd (Chirbury and Worthen Division) is appealing against the Mid and West Wales Fire Service’s move to close Montgomery Fire Station due to the severe impact this will have on both sides of the border.
William Powell, the Lib Dem Regional Assembly Member for Mid and West Wales is also taking up the issue with the Welsh Government.
