MEP CAMPAIGNS ON RURAL BROADBAND

Three Lib Dem Councillors in the West of Shropshire on Friday invited Phil Bennion, Lib Dem MEP for the West Midlands to see just how bad broadband coverage is in the Western part of Shropshire.

Phil and or/members of his team visited :

1. Secure Web services in Pennerly – a Company who provides a broadband service to rural homes and businesses.

2. Enterprise South West in Bishops Castle who have contacts with 200 local businesses and have been lobbying the council hard on this issue.

and

3. Patrick Cosgrove of Castle Lawn who has been leading a vigorous campaign to urge the Council to deliver Broaband to rural Shropshire.
