COUNCILLOR ACCEPTS AWARD FOR HEDGEROW CAMPAIGN
Heather Kidd, Shropshire Councillor for Chirbury and Worthen, has accepted a national award on behalf of a campaign she co-ordinated to save 7 miles of hedgerows earlier this year.
The award , from the Association of Liberal Democrat Councillors, recognises the fight by local residents in the Chirbury area (and indeed across the County and as far afield as Cambridge and Southampton) as the ‘Best Community Campaign’ of the last 12 month.
