Severn Trent will be replacing the water main in Stiperstones from the Stiperstones Inn to the Methodist Church in Perkins Beach Dingle (now the B&B I believe). Severn Trent and their contractor Enterprise have learnt a lot from doing the mains work in Worthen and Brockton. They are working hard to communicate to avoid problems. They have already discussed this with the School and the Pub and arranged for parking at the Methodist Church in Stiperstones and the pub.

This is what they have said;
We are working as a contractor on behalf of Severn Trent Water to renew some of the water mains in the Perkins Beach area.
The works are due to start early September for approximately 6 to 8 weeks.
To carry out this work safely and effectively it is necessary to use a range of traffic management including a road closure.
