THE POOL AT 50
WHAT A GREAT START!
We launched the Pool Campaign on November 15, with £70,000 in the fund. Last week that fund had grown to £102,000.
11 months in which to make the remaining £148,000!
There are two groups we’d like to thank in particular:
· local parish and town councils, especially those which have managed to be more generous this year than last
· The adult swimmers!! We have received direct sponsorship totalling £7,600, and donations of a further £4,500. (We will report on the CCBC sponsored challenge shortly.)
Sunday’s Little Mermaid event generated £350.
