There is a sizeable slippage of a section of verge on the A488 near Hope Mill.
Shropshire Council said “After an initial inspection we have had to arranged for a set of temporary traffic signals to be erected to protect both the highway and highway user.
“As with the slippage at Brockton, we will require the services of the Council’s consultants WSP to provide an assessment of the situation. To that end the Structures officer has been made aware and he in turn will engage WSP.
“It is likely that the temporary traffic management will need to be in situ for months whilst a solution is sort and the matter resolved !”
