Shropshire Council has launched the budget consultation process for the budget for the financial year 2023/24. Savings of circa £50 million are needed which are planned to be delivered by either policy changes or efficiency savings. In addition Council Tax is proposed to be 4.99% ( 2% allocated to social care).
