It was hoped that Severn Trent would be finished soon. The issue with the lack of water in reservoirs locally has meant that the flushing out of the system and other works were delayed. The closure will now end on 27 August – and of course they are sharing this closure with the road patching team.
DURATION EXTENSION TO CURRENT SEVERN TRENT ROAD CLOSURE – B4386 – MARTON TO CHIRBURY
Temporary Road Closure: Rorrington Lodge Junction To B4386 Junction, Wotherton (So the section of the road past Rorrington Lodge is also closed.)
Date: 1st June now to 27th August 2021
Purpose: Road Closure: STW – Work in conjunction with LB525A7W-12756056A to install 3,000m of new water mains. *Duration extension required due to July hot weather spell meant connections had to be stopped as reservoir levels had become critically low.
