Following the announcement made earlier today this email is to confirm that Shropshire has been placed in Tier 2 – High level. This is effective from December 2 when this current lock down ceases.
The poster attached provides a summary over view of what Tier 2 means.
In Tier 2 non essential retail and personal care businesses such as hair salons may open, however the current social distancing measures and mask requirements will remain in place.
The arrangements over the Christmas period 23 – 27 December are different, as soon as a poster summarising these is available I will send it out.
