Traffic Lights on the A490. There has been a great deal of trouble with the traffic lights on the A490 between Chirbury and Churchstoke. If anyone sees anyone interfering with these lights can you let me or Shropshire Council know. Any information received will be treated in the strictest confidence.
A major landslip here has led to part of the road disappearing down a 60′ bank into the Camlad. As you can imagine this has left the road in a parlous state that will require a great deal of money to repair (sums up of £100,00 plus have been mentioned). Shropshire Council has applied to Government for their flood funding to repair this.
