Once threatened hedgerows thrive.

Heather said “Seven months ago a planning application said that this hedge (and another 7 miles of hedgerow around it) we ‘largely dead’. Yesterday I counted 8 tree/shrub species (including our only native species of maple – field maple) as well as Honeysuckle and Briyony in just this 20 meter stretch alone.

“Hedgerows are an integral part of Shropshire’s landscape and excellent for our flora and fauna. Removal of huge chuncks of them would change both forever.”
