With the run up to this year’s General Election gaining momentum Heather Kidd, Liberal Democrat parliamentary candidate for Ludlow and Bridgnorth, has called on voters to see that there is only one alternative to the tired and worn out government of Gordon Brown.
Calls by Gordon Brown for Liberal Democrats to share Labour policies and by David Cameron that there is “a lot less disagreement than there used to be” between Tories and Liberal Democrats have been rubbished by Heather Kidd. Heather said “The real similarities lie these day between Labour and the Conservatives as they both struggle to come out with common policies that they think will appeal most to voters without actually doing anything. The real alternative are the Liberal Democrats who are the only party to give clear and concise statements on just how to get Britain out of the current mess that Labour has led us in to.”
