After more nagging by myself in meetings and on email Shropshire Council confirmed today :
Rectifying the Micro asphalt surface failure through Marton village will be added to the tender package for the A490 (Chirbury to Churchstoke road) Scheme which will be done this Summer/Autumn.
As yet there is not a firm date but the works will take place either before or following the A490 Scheme.
This was the best option to ensure the works are completed this financial year.
I will keep you informed as dates become clearer. I am having a meeting about the A490 resurfacing on Tuesday next week.
