A deep pothole was reported to me yesterday on the Halvan Bridge. The Council went out and filled it and marked it.
Today our roads technician, Heidi, went to inspect after concerns were again raised about the cones on the filled pothole. Heidi says;
I am concerned that further survey work needs to be undertaken in the New Year so as a precautionary measure I have arranged for two way traffic lights to be put up on site today. This is to prevent traffic running on the affected edge of the road.
This is just to let you all know why there are traffic lights on the bridge.
