I had a meeting this morning with Highways this week
in Marton. This is what was decided:
· The bottom of Marton will have the surface removed and properly resurfaced.
· The large patched area near the shop will be scrapped and re-laid properly. The junction will be included as it is deteriorating badly.
· The iron work will be replaced where needed and raised throughout the road where needed.
· Other drainage will be checked especially the blocked and collapsed gulley’s.
· The white lines will be repainted.
· This will all happen in March/ April.
A new dog bin will hopefully be placed down the road to Rorrington on a pole.
Let’s hope this deals with it! Micro Asphalt will not be used again!
