Heather Kidd today welcomed the decision by Kim Ryley, Returning Officer for the new Shropshire Council, that Ludlow constituency polling would be counted on the night of the poll.
Heather said “We are all aware of the problems at the last parliamentary election and more recently at the Unitary election count but this is the right decision. Hopefully we can have better organisation to ensure that a much earlier declaration next year.”
